My husband and I retired to Florida three years ago and love it here because of the wonderful weather, the beautiful tropical foliage, and the mostly sunny days. The inside of our home seemed a little dark, so the first renovation we made included replacing the front and back doors with doors with full windows, which provided a good amount of sunlight on sunny days. The interior rooms still seemed a little dark so we started researching skylights. When we found Ultra Beauty Skylights in Port Orange, we were pleased with their quality products and discussed our desire to have more sunlight in our home in the daylight hours with Andrew, who assured us that skylights would really make a difference in increasing natural light in our home. . He showed us the best products for our needs and we ordered 3 skylights and 1 solar attic fan. In a few days, their installer Matt visited our home and discussed with us our wishes for the locations of the lights and fan as well as his recommendations for the most advantageous locations based on direction of the sun and the layout of our attic. A few days later on a sunny day, Matt performed his magic in about 6 hours, and we had all our new skylights and fan in place. We could not be more delighted with the result we got. We are extremely pleased with the increased sunlight we are getting inside our home and would recommend this company to anyone who wants the job done right, for a very fair price. They are a small family business who excel in service.

We recommend SkyFlex for the sun tunnel they installed in our bathroom. We first met with Andrew in their Port Orange showroom and he helped us choose the size perfect for our needs. The installation was handled by a fellow named Bob and he did a wonderful job (even cleaning up afterwards). We are happy SkyFlex did the installation and just want to tell others about our successful experience with this company.

My husband and I purchased a home three years ago about a year after living in the home we noticed we had a leak in our bathroom skylight we called Ultra Beauty Skylights, the next day they came out, looked at the skylight and gave us our estimate. We also made an appointment to go to their office/show room to see their products. Andrew was very professional and passionate about their products. We decided to use them and within a few days they were out replacing our skylight. While replacing, they noticed that we had damage from the leak (rotten wood) and they repaired that as well!
A couple months ago, we noticed our kitchen skylight was now leaking as well. Well, we made no hesitation as who to call so we called Ultra Beauty Skylights back up within days our skylight was replaced with a new one and all was awesome!! I would also highly recommend the screens that go over the skylight so you do not have the sun beating in making the area hot in your home. Update: we just went thru Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole and the Skylights and screens are still in perfect condition!!

This is the third house we have installed Skyflex Skylghts since we moved to Florida ten years ago. When we installed them in our first and second home, each one was under construction. The natural light coming into our home was outstanding. This time, we had them installed in a newly finished home. While we feared it might present a problem since the house was already finished, the installation was done exactly as we wanted, the area carefully prepped beforehand and not one speck of dust anywhere when the job was completed. Once in a while you come across a business that REALLY cares and this is the case with this company. Our kitchen and dining area were really dark and we added two skylights this week...what a difference! We haven't had to turn on the lights at all since installation. The whole process was very quick and smooth with absolutely no mess thanks to professional installer Scott. There was quick follow-up by Andrew from the company to see if we were happy and he even dropped by to check out the results for himself. Already had 2 sun tunnels in my house when I purchased it a year ago. They let in so much light but there were a couple of spots in the house that were still dark so I looked up the company that had installed the others and purchased 2 more, one for my kitchen and one for the guest bathroom. Over the past years, we've had two Skyflex skylights and one solar attic fan installed by Ultra Beauty and couldn't be more pleased. The products are fantastic and the service has always been top notch. My husband and I were in the process of re-roofing our home and wanted to replace the four roof domes on our sun tunnels since they were old and susceptible to leaks. Eric Gaffka, the owner of Ultra Beauty Skylights reached out to us, after being contacted by our roofer, and invited us to his showroom so that we could become familiar with the options available. We were very impressed with the architectural beauty and thoughtful construction and quality of the Skyflex domes.
Our main considerations were budget and ensuring the dome would allow enough light into our home -- especially since most of the roof where the domes sit is on the north side of the house. We selected the SkyFlex Plastic Dome Skylight. Eric helped to ensure that we had enough light come into the house by recommending 6” reflective mirrors to lift the domes a little higher on the roof to allow more light to filter through. The solution provided by Eric far exceeded our expectations and the light coming into our home now has improved significantly.
UB Skylights was also very responsive and sensitive to the short timeframe we were under. We were in the showroom on Wednesday morning and they had the products and their excellent installer, Rick, out to our home for replacement on Thursday of the same week. WOW! What service!! Best ever!!
Now we will tell all of our neighbors and friends that they have to visit UB Skylights when considering replacement of their domes and/or sun tunnels.

My partner and I originally had Andrew install 5 Skylights and a solar attic fan in 2010. We had tried several companies and most didn’t even return our call. Then I noticed Ultra Beauty skylights and called. I spoke with Andrew Gaffka and he explained what they had and set up an appointment to come to the showroom. A roofing company replaced my skylight when re-roofing my house even though my contract stated to re-use the existing skylight. I contacted Andrew at Ultra Beauty Skylights, the company that had installed my previous skylight, and discussed the option of replacing the skylight that was just installed. We moved in a month ago here in Port Orange, FL. and while an afternoon torrential rainstorm was no surprise - the rain pouring down the kitchen skylight sure was! Checking reviews we saw Ultra Beauty Inc. was a local, family-owned, highly rated company and now we know why. They are prepared! 7 am the next morning Rick was at our house installing the unit. Rick was a friendly and very knowledgeable professional who did the installation in a neat and clean manner. What was interesting for us is there was another skylight Andrew had been able to see on his aerial app and Rick was able to remove it/close it off and re-shingle. A two-for-one deal we appreciated very much. Everyone made sure the job was done right and after spending time with all of them we know they approach every job the same way. We have a second floor which was always 10 degrees hotter than the 1st floor. After we had the solar attic fan installed it is at least 50-75% cooler! Absolutely love it, and it is free to run!!! Also customer service was exceptional!

Hello Andrew,
Edward and I would like to thank you for our solar tubes and solar attic fan that were installed yesterday. We are really pleased with the quality of the materials they are made with and the solar tubes look great. Not only are they nice looking, but what a difference they have made in our kitchen and utility room! We keep thinking one of us has left a light switch on in both the rooms and are constantly going to check them! Thank you also that we also received the correct sizes of solar tubes, despite there being difficulty in you obtaining the larger solar tubes, the ones we desired. The solar attic fan is much quieter than we expected, which is good.
We would like to also tell you that we were very pleased with the installer of our solar items, Richard (Rick) Geary. He arrived on time as arranged, was very polite and courteous, answered any questions we asked, and worked very hard in hot weather! Thank you Rick!

This is the second time we have had sun tunnels installed in our home. The first time goes back to 1998 –we were completely satisfied with Ultra Beauty’s work then and again this December when we had a new roof put on our home. I wanted to let you know that I am very happy with the results of the two skylights installed by installer Rick.
I have to give kudos to Rick because he was so patient for helping me to choose the right spot for the large skylight to be installed between my family room and kitchen. He was right about no lighting interference of our flat screen television and I can read my mail/books without using lamps during the day.
I can’t praise enough of the difference the extra natural lighting has brought in my house.
The second skylight has brighten my daughter’s bathroom and hallway as well.
The only drawback is that my daughter stays in her bathroom much longer than usual but we are very happy with the results.I will definitely recommend Sky Flex to our family and friends.

I just wanted to write and thank you all for the fine skylights! Andrew was the perfect man to send to explain the system to us, and he answered all of our concerns on the spot. The installer came in as scheduled and installed 2 skylights in the living room and showed us how it all went together. He took his time and did a great job on it. Now the living room looks fabulous all day long. It used to be very dark, but it actually took a few days of getting used to when we walked into the living room after the installation, because we kept seeing how bright it was and thinking we needed to turn the lights off, when they weren’t even on. Hahaha. And it served us very well because Hurricane Matthew hit about a week later and we were without power for a week, but with the skylights we could still sit in the living room and read all day. We had debated for a long time about doing this, even up to a year after we had met Andrew at a Home and Garden Show where we first learned about your system, but now I wish we had done it back then because it has really changed the atmosphere of the living room. Loving it! A very good investment! And no issues with it after the hurricane either.

I am writing this note to thank you and D.J. for the interesting and informative visit at our house demonstrating your Skylight and Solar Attic Fan. At first Lena and I were only interested in the skylight for our guest bath but after seeing the quality and function of the attic fan we agreed to have both installed on our house.
Scott the installer showed up promptly and did a terrific job with not only the installation but making certain that all debris and packing materials were cleaned up before leaving. Gladys and I really appreciate what you and your skylights have done for us. Six years ago I was dating Gladys – a senior citizens romance. I brought her to see my home which I was very fond of. When Gladys entered the great room (living room, dining room, and kitchen), she said “It’s to dark in here. I could not live here.” I knew I had to do something quick.
Fortunately, you were installing two round dome type skylights in the home behind me – the best technology at that time. So I had you install eight skylights in my large great room. What a difference it made. The whole house seemed brighter and more cheerful. Thankfully, Glady says, yes, we were married and are living “happily ever after.”
Recently, we have converted our garage into a multi purpose room. Rug on the floor, desk with bookshelves, workbench with shelves for tools and fasteners, large shelves for storage, utility sink, hot water tank, a hobby table, exercise machines, and even a small family room section. The garage is insulated and we still have room for one car. So you see we use the extra “room” a lot. However, when the garage door was down, it was too dark in there.
Then we called you and you came to our rescue by putting in four SkyFlex Skylights® for us. We were very impressed with the new low roof design you have developed. They are nicer looking, brighter, more energy efficient, and hurricane proof than the dome type skylights you installed in our great room. But most important – they will not fade or crack due to expansion and contraction of the plastic support rings of the older ones we have. Examination of them showed cracks in several of them which in time would cause leaks. So we talked you into upgrading the skylights in our great room to the new design. Thank you and your pleasant and very competent installer for a job well done.
